About Me

Balance Breathe Bloom

Namaste, I’m Renée — a mother of three, proud grandmother of two, former classroom teacher, and current faculty member with a local teacher preparation program. My journey into yoga has been lifelong, but it took on new purpose and depth through my work in education.

Several years ago, I partnered with two local school districts on a grant project aimed at bringing mindfulness into the classroom. That experience opened my eyes to the powerful connection between mindful practices and student well-being, and it inspired me to pursue my 200-hour yoga teacher training. What began as personal growth quickly became part of my professional practice. I now incorporate yoga and mindfulness into my college classes to support future educators in cultivating balance, presence, and resilience.

Since then, I’ve expanded my training to include Ayurveda practices, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yoga for Kids, and one-on-one personal yoga sessions. I’m especially passionate about creating accessible, nurturing spaces for individuals of all ages and backgrounds — whether in the classroom, on the mat, or out in nature.

Tula Bloom Yoga is a reflection of my belief that we all have the ability to breathe, balance, and bloom — exactly where we are.
